Thank You for Your guiding hand,
That led me to Your family.
You have surrounded me,
With loving brothers and sisters.
Your people are precious,
And abounding in Your grace.
It would be a disastrous thing for me,
If I would ever forsake them,
For through them I discovered,
A small taste of Your love.
It was Your Providence that led me,
To stumble upon them that day.
And it was Your strength that helped me,
To step out of my own shadow.
You hand-tailored our meeting,
Left nothing up to chance,
Ordained it from the beginning of the world.
Everything I’ve done,
Everywhere I’ve been,
Was preparation for that moment.
Now, Lord, I thank You with all my heart,
For this reflection of your love and care:
The family of God.
