A Mother’s Day Poem

May the Lord place favor,
Upon all your earthly works.
May He give you passage,
Through wherever evil lurks.

May your husband call you,
His precious, radiant bride.
May his love still linger,
As long as you both abide.

May you be called “blessed,”
And may all your sons be saved.
May you be uplifted,
By the children you have raised.

May the young brides seek you,
For great wisdom from your lips.
May they trust your council,
With respect never eclipsed.

May you rest in heaven,
On the day your time has come.
May the arms of Jesus,
Be your everlasting home.
